Tuesday Treasure- Shamrock and Sunshine
Today I have a template for facebook for you! Saint Patrick’s day is such a fun little holiday! I remember growing up my grandpa dying his hair GREEN and telling us the leprechauns did it! I wish he was still around so my kids could share these memories!
Here is my layout made with the template! These are pictures of my Grandpa all ready for St. Patrick’s day!

The template I made if 850×320 and perfect for your facebook cover photo! I had alot of fun using this and I was in need of a new cover photo!

Thursday’s Tip: Digital photo storage and organization
When I finally switched over to digital from film, I came across the issue of how to store my digital images. At first, I tried separating them by child. That worked OK for awhile, until my family grew, and I started having more and more images with multiple kids. So in 2009 I started a new digital filing system that works fantastic for me!
I created folders for all the years I had photos for. 2010, 2011, 2012, etc. Then within the year, I added folders for the month. Then I just started dragging my images to the folders they belonged in. If you set your view to “list” view, it will show you the date you took the picture.
So now when I need to hunt a picture down, it’s so much easier to find it without having to search through thousands of lumped together images. So easy and organized!!
